Our specialty is getting people away from it all through the Shiawassee Flats by boat. Travel through 18,000 acres of wetlands, rivers, creeks and bayous.
We can accommodate 1-10 persons on our shallow draft, custom built boats through part of the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge and State Game Area when conditions permit.
Licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard, inspected and insured, we offer soft adventures through one of the richest wildlife habitats in Michigan. From the migrations of waterfowl and raptors of early spring, lush foliage of summer, to the crimson colors and migrations of fall, you will have opportunities to spot Bald Eagles, beaver, deer, ducks, herons and shore birds.
Trips are personally guided and narrated. Length of tours average 3-5 hours and are by reservation. Trips can be specifically tuned to individual groups, please call for details.
Scholar trips are available for any age with focus on ecology, history, and wildlife. For the more adventurous, physically active we have "marathon trips" which can involve portaging, paddling, or dragging the boat through some of the tributaries we grew up exploring. Romantic getaway packages can depart from the backyard of the Montague Inn in Saginaw. Load up your picnic basket and cooler with your favorites, cruise into the sunset, and return under the stars.
All tours are in open boats. Trips run with a 50% chance of rain or less. Cancellations and reschedules are at Captains Discretion.

$240 minimum for up to 2 guests, $50 for each additional guest. A $100 deposit reserves your date. Cash, check, or Venmo.
