Explore the AuSable River and Tributaries for True Adventure Trip
This adventure departs just west of Oscoda, MI. We will do some side river trips up some of the AuSable's tributaries. We start at the end of the pond and work our way all the way to Loud Dam. Passing Lumberman's Monument and Iargo Springs, you will get a unique perspective of this pristine stretch of water and towering sand dunes. Put your feet up and savor the beauty on this " day (minimum) tour. This trip is near where the Ausable River, a "Blue Ribbon Trout Stream" terminates at Lake Huron.
**Do you think you are in shape? Then join us for some true "Cardiovascular Chaos". We will explore a creek, as far as the boat can get us, and then some! Then we will go on the dune climbing circuit, climb one or climb six, just pace yourself, it is tougher than it looks.
We will savor the beauty, perhaps from the top of a dune at sunset, explore the pond from end to end, and get an aerobic workout in the process. Water skiing, knee boarding, or tubing can also be options.**
